Prudential Fox and Roach (“PFR”) Administrative Fee Class Action
Summary of Case and Settlement: Shabel & DeNittis, P.C. has obtained preliminary approval of a settlement in a class action against Prudential Real Estate Affiliates, Inc. and Prudential, Fox & Roach Realtors (collectively referred to herein as “PFR”) in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Burlington County, alleging that PFR collected Administrative Fees at real estate closings from consumers that were in violation of New Jersey law. PFR denied the allegations, but was in agreement to resolve the case. Under the terms of the settlement, all class members from whom fees were collected are eligible to receive a partial refund.
On June 7, 2011, the Honorable Evan H.C. Crook, J.S.C. of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Burlington County, entered an order granting preliminary approval of the settlement of this class action lawsuit. To make a claim, download the claim form set forth below and follow the instructions on the claim form to submit a claim. All claims must be submitted to the claims administrator set forth on the claim form on or before OCTOBER 5, 2011. Your failure to submit a claim form by that time will prevent you from obtaining any recovery in this class action.
